The Belfry is a residential recording/mixing/mastering studio located only seven miles south of Syracuse, NY. It is the new center of operations for producer/recording artist, David Peters. In 2008, Singer/Songwriter, Timothy Daniel (Intellective Records), purchased the United Methodist Church of Cardiff and began converting the building into an artist's retreat. Tim invited David (a longtime friend and colaborator) to relocate from London in order to build and run a new studio. By August of 2008 sessions were in full swing at The Belfry Recording Studio.

The Belfry offers the best of both old and new in audio. Vintage tube equipment and analog tape blend their timeless, warm textures with the efficiency and versatility of modern computer-based recording. The studio offers some of the most famous and sought-after microphones and rack equipment ever made. The main recording room is spacious and inspiring. Two smaller rooms allow for isolation and lend their own individual sonic characteristics. A tack piano, century-old foot-pump harmonium, and a vintage lap steel are just a few of the Belfry's eclectic instruments waiting to find their way into your recordings.
